Fulton County PA Fair Guinea Pigs

- Fulton County Youth age 19 & under can show in the Open and Youth classes.

Guinea Pigs: Dept. 9 (open) & Dept. 11 (youth)

1. Limit to four guinea pigs per exhibitor (two per pen). Guinea Pig Show to follow the Rabbit Show.

2. Mixed breeds are not allowed except in Pet Class. If you are not sure what breed you have, obtain a guinea pig breed and variety list from your Extension Office to properly fill our your entry or call the show chairperson or visit www.arba.net.

GUINEA PIGS  HEALTH RULES

     An “Animal Owner or Caretaker’s Verification of Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship” form must be presented upon arrival at all shows and fairs in Pennsylvania, including out-of-state entries.

1. Guinea pigs will be judged according to the latest Standards of Perfection as per the American Rabbit Cavy Breeders Assoc.

2.  All animals must have a legible ear tag in the left ear. If no tag is present, a number will be assigned and placed in the ear with a permanent marker.

3. Each exhibitor must sign a statement as to the guinea pig being free from known health disorders. Upon arrival or anytime signs of health disorders appear, animal will be dismissed. No guinea pig showing signs of contagious or infectious disease will be admitted to the show.
