Fulton County Fair's Festival of Lights

The “Festival of Lights” consists of businesses, churches, civic organizations, families, & school groups.  They create Christmas Light Displays at the Fulton County Fairgrounds for the public to drive through & view.  The Christmas Light Displays are displayed along the main roadway that parallels inside the perimeter fence of the Fulton County Fairgrounds in McConnellsburg. 

Visitors drive through the entire event in their own vehicles. 

This event affords businesses, churches, civic organizations, families & school groups the opportunity to show their Christmas Spirit and wish the community “Merry Christmas”.

There is a “Welcome Center” near the end of the display line inside the Fair’s Rabbit Building.  The Welcome Center offers coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies to all who visit and goodie bags for the children.   There is a photographer on site taking family photos and selling photo packages at a reasonable rate.   Also featured are Santa and Mrs. Claus for children to visit.

The Fair Association would like to invite you to participate  Annual “FULTON COUNTY FESTIVAL of LIGHTS”.   Reserve your space now by completing the participation form below and returning to the Festival of Lights point of contact, Michelle DeShong.  Information provided on the form.

The fairgrounds is equipped with a limited number of spaces with access to electricity; therefore, you may need to use a generator for your light display, along with heavy duty extension cords.   For more details, contact Michelle or Kerry DeShong at kedmmd@gmail.com or by calling 717-816-3419 or 717-552-0027.

There will be a $25.00 participant fee.

Keep in mind this event is for the community!  An event such as this will only be successful if you are involved!!!

In addition to driving through the light display, visiting the live nativity, folks will have an opportunity to stop by and visit Santa in the Welcome Center.  The Fair Association will be offering free refreshments (coffee, hot chocolate, and a variety of cookies).  The Fair Association will also be offering goodie bags to the children who stop by to visit Santa.  We are seeking donations to help with this event.  Any donation whether monetary or refreshment items such as hot chocolate and cookies is greatly appreciated.  The Fair Association would like to wish everyone Happy Holidays!  Form is below for Monetary donations (made payable to Fulton County Fair Association) may be mailed to:
